Home Health Aide Services

Depending on your needs, your aide may help with:

  • Bathing or showering

  • Dressing and grooming

  • Oral hygiene

  • Hair and skin care

  • Toileting and incontinence care

They are trained to provide care with dignity, respect, and privacy.

Meal Support

If part of your care plan, the aide can:

  • Prepare light meals or snacks

  • Assist with feeding, if needed

  • Encourage proper hydration and nutrition

Mobility & Safety Help

To keep you moving safely, your HHA may:

  • Assist with walking, transfers, or repositioning

  • Help you in and out of bed or chairs

  • Encourage gentle activity as directed by your therapist or nurse

Light Housekeeping (As Permitted)

They may also help with:

  • Making the bed

  • Tidying your living space

  • Laundry or dishwashing (light tasks only)

Note: Housekeeping is limited to patient-related areas/tasks only.

Observation & Communication

While they’re not medical professionals, HHAs are trained to:

  • Observe changes in your condition

  • Report concerns to the nurse or care team

  • Support emotional well-being through companionship
